Athlete of the Month
Congratulations to our July Athlete of the Month: Sophie! Sophie pushes herself during each exercise, every class. She is a friend to all (even the receptionists at the Lake Oswego Community Center know her name!) and does a great job at including everyone in her conversations and exercise games. We LOVE having Sophie at EBA!
How long have you been going to EBA?
Sophie’s been with EBA for three years.
What is your favorite part about EBA?
”I like the people and I like the workouts, especially the arm bikes and the planks.”
What do you like to do when you’re not at EBA?
”When I’m not at EBA, I like to go swimming, play basketball and soccer, and going to Voices Unlimited.”
Teammate of the Month
Congratulations to our July Teammate of the Month: Oliver! Oliver is a fun and outgoing teammate who uses his humor to create connections with others at EBA. Not only is Oliver an amazing teammate that all our athletes love, he is also an EBA School Ambassador and has played an important part in volunteer recruitment from his school!
How long have you been volunteering as a teammate at EBA?
”I’ve been volunteering at EBA for about a year and a half now, since I started on Zoom.”
What is your favorite part about EBA?
“I love meeting new faces almost every single week. I never get bored at EBA and it gives me something to look forward to for the week. I also like seeing what basketball team Jasper has become a fan of every time I come 😉”
What do you like to do when you’re not at EBA?
“Outside of EBA, I love playing baseball, hiking, and hanging with my dogs.”
